Dainichikoukoku, a country much like Japan in the early 1900s. At a time when the sound of military boots could be heard, the army established the secret intelligence department "Theatres". Among the personnel gathered to serve as spies, the protagonist, Hachiya, is among them. In front of the corpse of the man who was supposed to be his superior - with a face as gloomy as ever and an unmoving prosthetic hand. "Now, let's get to work." This is a story of many "lies" spun by the protagonist, who chose to fight for his one and only wish, and the people who will eventually become his friends. Hornet the Vanguard is an adventure game in which the story progresses through exploration and puzzle solving. Each case to be solved is completed in one chapter. This title contains chapters 0 through 2; chapters 3 and beyond will be released sequentially. Chapter 1 On a mission, Hachiya infiltrated the Koutoza, the best theater in Japan. There, however, an actress is murdered. The mysterious detective Yuzaki suspects Hachiya as the murderer. ...... "I like you a little bit. Would you like to be my subordinate person?"
