Hack medium Jack Lognare has a specialty: "cleansing" haunted locations so that they can be fixed up and sold without the stigma they once had in their communities. When he is hired to exorcise the spirits in an apartment complex in rural Wisconsin, he expects to find the same thing he usually does: nothing. But when he arrives, he discovers that this time, the rumors may actually be true, and he has found his first legitimate haunting. Initially thrilled to use his phony "ghost hunting equipment" for real, he soon learns that the malicious Entity that supposedly killed all the residents may be real as well... and it doesn't plan on letting him leave so easily. Each chapter will have multiple endings; will Jack help the trapped spirits along the way and get the true answers, or focus on getting out as quickly as possible before he shares their fate?
